My parents gave each of their four daughters unconditional love, unwavering support, and unlimited expectations. It is my goal to share these same lifelong gifts with my children and future grandchildren.
Year your CACS Board Member term began: 2015
What are your reasons for serving on the CACS Board of Directors:
CACS has an excellent reputation as a great place to work and for providing quality mental health and addiction services to people in our community. I am honored to be part of this dedicated team. I have a long career in public health, but too often behavioral health needs have not been recognized as critical to our public health. I would offer any skills or knowledge I have to help improve this imbalance in our community.
What are you most proud of that has been accomplished during your CACS term?:
I have served less than one year on the Board. I am impressed by the vision and commitment of the Board members, leadership and every CACS staff member I have met.
Describe your vision for CACS:
Individuals and families will recognize that the mental health and addiction services provided by CACS are essential for a healthy community. These services are not just for vulnerable or underserved people. These services are equitable and integrated with other basic care for all of our community members. These services are provided in a visible, consolidated and respectful environment for our clients and staff.
What would you like others in the community to know about CACS:
The employees at CACS are incredibly dedicated and committed to serving the needs of individuals and families and to strengthening our community.
